What speed I need to set my D5 for my setup

Since once I got everything assembled it is very hard to acces my D5 for the speedcontroller I would like to know what speed should I run my D5.
    The purpose is cooling a Q6600 @ 4.0ghz with 1.48-1.50vcore.
    I got the following parts in my loop: Swiftech D5 vario/ PA120.3/ D-tek V2.

here is a picture of my loop:

I use the same setup as you (D-Tek V1 - PA120.3 - D5) and i have the pump set at speed 3. Changing between speeds 3/4/5 didnt made any difference for me. So i thought i should set it at 3 to operate more relaxed.

I find that my D5 even at Speed 5 is very quiet. At first its loud while the bubbles are there but when you get them out, its very quiet. Especially once you put the side panels on, I really doubt you'll be able to hear it over even a 7v 120mm fan.

There is no reason not to run it on speed 5. You won't be able to hear it over a couple of fans anyway.

It's always worthwhile trying it out for yourself, it's amazing what a little heat dump will do. It's very possible you could get better end resulting temperatures on a lower setting although I've always had the habit of running at 5 myself.
