Contestants will be flying in on the 24th, and then most will stay on until the 27th (Saturday) after some organised sight seeing and much partying

So far the venue for both accommodation and the event are the hyatt, but the event may move to the new computer market which is still being decided.

I'll be arriving around 9:30pm on 24th, so will catch up with everyone at the bar soon after that.
Not much time to test the hardware, going to be a lot tougher than the last comp

Looking forward to seeing you guys again & meeting some new people

Seating is impossible to get on the night, so we should get Tim (Gigabyte) to arrange us a company reservation. Hicookie can you ask him?
Company reservations to great clubs? Hrm... *picks up phone* "Why yes, I'd like to email myself to Taiwan"

It's not changed, it's the same as 2900XT/3870. Should be the same as many others aswell but those are the ones I know for sure

^^^ yeah man I know[G92 GT/GTS/GTX and 3870 are 58.5mm ] but I think overall companies should stick to one spec to make things like aftermarket cooling solutions more effectively used by all.

    Sorry for OT!

Ok, I see what you mean. Same thing with everything, they just won't use common standards

thanks for that...will help with block design....do you know if this is the same mounting spaces as the 4870X2?

also if you know...is the core below the level of the shim? or can we make the contact face of the block 50mm square or so and still get contact?
