    E8600@ 5278.98 MHz on air

    Winter days are here and last week I decided to play with my baby
    I had no more time than 30 minutes for testing
    think I could do more

    setup:
    Asus Rampage DDR2 X48 Thermalright IFX/SLI NB Cooler
    E8600 VID 1.1875
    Ultra120 with 2X noctua NF-P12 (push&pull)
    Gigabyte 800W PSU
    4gb Cellshock D9GMH
    2X HD 4870
    Ambient was near +5oC

    Now the second try, single 4870
    results are amasing
    Ambient +1 oC real vcore 1.53v
    2day is 31'st december and miracles are all around - 5278.98 MHz

    Chip is great but Cooler is awesome
    still surprises me with it's performance

    forgot to write that real vcore was 1.48V
    maybe next try will give better results

    I'm sorry for keep asking offtopic, but i need this - do you think, that with sane temps (42-45) NB could work for 24/7 with voltages like 1.67 - 1.71? I mean, for 24/7 and year or two?

    Soon I plan to move to Core i7 and have to sell this CPU
    But promise to make it DI or if it will be possible LN2 on it with my team
