Thanks. Yep gt 430 is set as the physx card but it's more important purpose is to output hd audio to my receiver. AnyDVD HD+ MPC-HC + FFDShow = DTS-HD / TrueHD audio while watching blu-rays.

Wait, the GTX580 can't bitsteam?!?! That is truly pathetic if this is true.

More likely it can do audio-over-HDMI, but he likely doesn't want to run a display through the receiver--it probably adds too much lag.

It doesn't need to be. With my GTX460s and all my ATI videocards I had the display hooked up using DisplayPort then the audio went over HDMI to the receiver.

The GTX 580 can do audio over HDMI.

Although (I didn't know this when I jumped for the 580) Nvidia has yet to implement the driver to allow DTS-HD and TrueHD to be transmitted... or so says the internet.

So that's basically why I have that awesome little 430 in there. I run my video signal with the 580 and the audio and physx get processed by the 430. Audio is output over HDMI to my receiver.

Love the snail case! I really wish lian li would produce more cases and oddities like this.

Still liking the case? I know it's old and not produces anymore... I really should fine one! I wonder if its WCing friendly.

Awesome snail case

I have a love/hate relationship with that case.
Looks good with the graphics, urban look. Now add watercooling to it and it's
a great nerd corner centerpiece.

so i borrowed my apartment to build my custom computer desk...
i got some pretty nice hardwood here and hand picked from the bunch. can't wait to finish this and start my build! hope my photos can compete with some of the epic pics you guys post!

**NINJI EDIT** though Shaza was kind enough just to limit my pics to 4, i am going to comply with the 4 simple rules and remove all pics as they are build log pics.

Lots of beautiful systems here. Just a friendly reminder:

Four Simple Rules:

1) No larger than 1280 x 1024 pixel (but 1024 x 768 pixel is preferred),
2) The limit on the number of pictures is 4 per case (if you want to post more than 4 pictures, use thumbnails or post links without using the IMG tags),
3) Do not quote images,
4) Finished cases only, no worklogs.

At the completion of the build I discovered that a screw had decided to puncture one of the radiators water channels. Hence, it leaked coolant all over the table. My neighbor repaired it for me quite easily though.

Here is my humble workstation and rig. My signature is out of date. Core stuff is still the same, but there is a lot that's new. I like my stuff simple, functional and my computer to be super quiet. My door stays closed almost 100% of the time. Keeps things very quiet.

I just got a new camera and I have been playing with it in manual mode learning so these shots are not 100% the best the camera can do.
