Hello, i was wondering if it was just possible to remove the horrible stock EVGA NB fan and heatsink and replace it with a NB block (which one?) but not have get blocks for the rest of the MOBO [SB, mofset]

As far as I know you still need to get some sort of cooling for the SB and mosfets if you replace the NB. It doesn't necessarily need to be a waterblock, but heatsinks of some kind are necessary. As an aside, the EVGA 780i chipsets are designed to run HOT, so don't be surprised if you see temperatures in the 60-80C range (ideally it should be under 80C though, much higher than that and you can damage the chipset).
I would get an Eddy block for the northbridge and an enzotech copper heatsink for the mosfet ($12 or so)
