The absolutely right way to mount apogee to AM2 socket

hehe just found out than i don't have am2 brackets for Apogee waterblock.
After little thinking i came to this:

Used 2 of lga775 bolts, 2 nuts and 1 AM2 boxed cooler mounts. Works like dream

I don't think you're putting down adequate pressure on the cores, but that's just me. I do have an AM2 Apogee plate on an AM2 cpu.

Well the block don't move when i try to push it, just testing the mobo + cpu combo so i don't need get that plate

This goes to bros comp in couple days when i find mems for this.

If that was your cpu, you would have wanted to tighten it down as much as possible to get the best possible temps. But its not your machine
