doesnt look very effective. isnt this a tried design?
This is almost the same design that their cpu blocks. It weight 500 gr (against 140gr for the mcw60) and is in full metal. Ybris will also sell a heat sink like d-tech to cool the rest of the video card.

of course its going to have its merits, i just think the design isnt effective
And you would know this because?
Actually if you look at the design, it looks quite unique. In one set of holes, over the divits and out the far side holes.
Again, you are guessing? Are you a fortune teller too?

Looks interesting and unique. I agree with nikhsub1 and wait for a actual testing result before commenting.
Wow that does look a bit different. Interesting design...
Hmm, i need a 2nd gpu block anyway..anyone got word and when its coming through?

OK, so who's applied that to a GPU, which is a completely different load?
LOL
I have to agree with scott. It looks interesting.
Jets alligned on the side to provide turbulance. Then the base plate is drilled to add surface area.
Then water escapes on the other side.
However scott why is the top part drilled like the bottom part?
I dont see that doing anything but adding restriction without performance.

Isn’t this a remake of the old jet impingent waterblocks which if I’m not mistaken are less effective compared to more recent designs?
~Just backing Evil98 Up~
Oh and for those of you that doubt the word of god (me) here is some info to back it up.

its Italian (not run of the mill) and i don't believe the jet impingement has been used on a GPU. hell most GPU blocks r just a simple pin matrix with no accelerators or anything. only recently has Eddy offered the supreme GPU with any kind of accelerator, who knows could work well.
oh you can click on the pictures for a close up...
The top looks like covers for the divits.
the divits look like micro pin internals.
The flow path would be the 2 sides though the holes, down to the divits where micro pins are at covered by the top divit, and then exit off the side wide channels.
Uhhh.. i have no idea how this block will perform. It has enough holes to not cause a too much loss in restriction.
The top allows gaps so water can flow though the divits and pins, and the exit shaft is 4 with a wide channel per 2. :\

There's no jets. Water is moving from left to right like a wave because of the shifted half spheres in the 2 pieces :
That picture helps a lot. But now I'm left wondering what the purpose of the two side channels are? Seems like they'd just act as a bypass, letting the water miss the turbulence-causing portions of the block.

more info here guys, but in italian

the date of throwing is enough near
TBH I'd rather have one of those than a D-TeK fuzion GPU V2 or an MCW60...
I think it looks fab.

edit : they are however still all prototypes

i know, i originally thought it was like a storm.
i mean if i dont state my opinion how will it be corrected right?
well my opinions are based on my experiences..
i design a few blocks for a company based in china.
had a similar design that wasnt divets but zig zags
didnt do very well.
