    Micro ATX Motherboard. Overclocking need.

What motherboard is suggested for a E7200 processor?

I'm looking to overclock it. Pairing it with a HD4850, so I don't want integrated if at all possible.

DFI will release an nice micro-atx board soon. Or you could look into asus p5e-vm hdmi, it had awesome FSB OC results, including quads. Gigabyte has an good m-atx mobo aswell, dont remember the name, and IIRC biostar has a good one too.

Would I be better off trying to find a compact ATX tower? I've read bad things about the DFI P45 mATX board. FSB limited to ~400mhz.

Looks like I don't have much choice.

Where have you found DFI m-atx board results ?

Do some research about p5e-vm hdmi, you will see 500Mhz++ FSB results.

Well considering the board isn't even released yet, I wouldn't put too much faith based on pre-release numbers. their DK P45 and DK X48 had issues and wouldn't do past 450fsb..but one BIOS update later, they are performing very very well. i myself am waiting for this DFI P45 and DDR3 board for my very delayed HTPC build.

Would it be worth it to wait for P43? I'm not going multi-gpu this generation.

Would a newer & better chipset get more performance out of a CPU? Exact same settings.

Say a P45 vs the P965. Would it make a difference?

Nope not at all. Just get the Asus G35 and be done with it if you want Micro ATX.
