Question Help. Need BEST OC board for Quad core.

I got a tigerdirect gold card so I can only buy what tigerdirect has available.

    I'm a newb at overclocking. I have 2x1gb reaper 6400 dd2, and 2x1gb 6400 ampx ddr2. Q9300 quad 2.5

I wanna overclock this thing to atleast 3.2 .

I'm between Asus Striker II Formula Motherboard
    and Asus P5N-T Deluxe Motherboard

have to go nvidia because i have 2 9800 GTX's

Thanks ahead for your comments and suggestions.

I haven't had any experience with them yet but the 790i series are meant to be far superior when it comes to overclocking so I'd restrict my choices to these motherboards. After, it's say it's down to what features you want on your board and how much you're willing to invest Personally I'm aiming for the Striker II Extreme but that's just because it has everything I'll need on it without requiring any extras

Bobly the guy got DDR2 ... so 790i isn't an option at all, and if you look closely in the Striker II extreme they got way more issues than the Striker Formula II... the extreme could be your worst and most expensive nitemare yet....

Go with the Striker formula II if you have to choose between those two mobo's you mentioned....
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Trust me get the EVGA 750i SLI FTW. Although it's overpriced @ Tiger Direct. I easily hit 450FSB prime stable and was 475FSB 3DMark06 and 2Hrs OCCT stable. You'll be very satisfied with this board & should be able to hit 3.4Ghz with your Q9300 with ease.
