    Yesterday, Sam found out that his 2D benchOS which we used for the 8m9s E8500 32M run had corrupt registry ( by nVidia 790i ) - so Sam immediately went to rebench 32M

    Rig
    Core2Duo E8500 (Q746A, 1A0007)
    ASUS P5K3-Deluxe (79M0ACP39xxx Taiwan PCB) fully Vmodded, BIOS 0910
    2x1Gb HyperX 14400 (Micron D9GTR)
    7300GT GDDR3
    Samsung 40GB SATA (SP0401C)
    Chieftec 750W singlerail
    WinXP SP2

    CPU cooling : Vikingpot 1.2 + LN2 (temp in the -143C zone during bench)
    Mobo cooling : stock cooler + two 120mm
    mem cooling : stock cooler + 120mm

    Vcore = 1.71V by CPUz
    Vpll = 1.83V DMM (Vpll mod)
    Vtt = 1.40V (BIOS set)
    Vmch = 1.75V DMM (1.7V via BIOS)
    Vmem = 2.35V DMM (2.25V via BIOS)
    CPU GTL : 0.67x via BIOS
    NB GTL : 0.61x via BIOS
    5:8 divider, strap333 via BIOS

    Tweaks:
    OS base - exact same as the one posted in Team OCX zone, really clean
    defrag all the time
    some reg.tweaks
    only 3 services left running + drivers' chop by "Autoruns"
    CDT (OPB's method with WinRAR files)
    explorer off, priority CPU1, affinity high

    boot at 600x9.5 then clockgen to 607x9.5 just before hitting "OK" on the 32M

    shame these P45 board won't do PL9
