    Anyone interested in seeing an old xbox mod with pc guts?

    I thought it would be a cool project to pull out the guts of the xbox and replace them with some pc inards, ill do it if I get some people wanting to see it here

    I would like to see it... and i think the microatx will fit, xbox is huge... maybe the psu needs to be a very small one

    well, im sure a matx will fix,

    I used to have one, but gave it away :/
    now I kinda regret it haha..but the top was ripped off anyways because the fan header fired or something..?

    you could probably get a mATX board in it with inbuilt graphics and HDMi on the back. Then slap in a C2D and a special micro psu and make it into an htpc

    You could always use something like this for the graphics card: http://www.orbitmicro.com/global/pci...ble-p-759.html. Then you could just lay the card flat and place it wherever you want.

    wow that is cool, i could put my videocard anywhere with a few of those, at the bottom of my case drawing fresh air from the outside

    i have taken a xbox apart before, its a pIII and geforce 4 graphics and a small rectangular psu like some smaller dells have

    Heh, I just got mine back from my sister and I definitely thought about it. Then I realized how much I enjoyed THPS3, the 2 DDR games, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and old school Halo.
