    [OC Team Latvia] Smashing the 3dmark2k1 WR!!!

    Sam & mrlobber (OC Team Latvia) are back for another round

    Thanks to 4850/4870 cards hitting the market with such a bang, G92 are dirt cheap nowadays, so:
    now we can afford to bench 3D as well

    And by the way, did Vince become too comfortable sitting up there in the 3dmark2k1 hill? Now he has some work to do to catch us up

    3D rig
    Core2Duo E8500 (Q746A, 1A0007)
    eVGA 132-CK-NF79-A1 (790i Ultra reference)
    2x1Gb HyperX 14400 (Micron D9GTR)
    eVGA reference 8800GTS 512Mb (Samsung mems) Vgpu mod
    Club3D reference 8800GTS 512Mb (Samsung mems) Vgpu mod
    Samsung 40GB SATA (SP0401C)
    WinXP SP2, ForceWare 169.21 (modded 173.67 don't work for some reason)

    CPU cooling : Vikingpot 1.2 + LN2 (temps in the -140C to -125C range during bench)
    Mobo cooling : stock cooler + two 120mm
    mem cooling : stock cooler + 120mm
    both VGA cooling : Tek9 + LN2 (both cards nice and smooth below -105C, no coldbug)

    Vcore = 1.83V via CPU-Z
    Vtt = 1.45V (BIOS set)
    Vmem = 2.20V (BIOS set)
    Vspp = 1.55V (BIOS set)
    Vmcp = 1.70V (BIOS set)
    Vgpu = 1.77V on Club3D card , 1.74V on eVGA card (both are vGPU modded)
    GTL settings = keeping these a little secret

    5:8 divider (unlinked mode), P1+P2 enabled

    Tweaks:
    OS base - exact same as the one posted in Team OCX zone
    5 services left running
    explorer off
    run order DH-LL-LH-DL-CH-CL-N
    LOD 4.9 (not optimised for each test)
    cards maxed only for nature, other tests ran at lower GFX freq due to CPU limit

    boot at 616x9.5 sometimes gets corrupt OS (luckily, have 3 backup OS), really need clockgen for this board

    FM compare link : http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9392159

    Unfortunately, our stock of LN2 ran out, so we had to settle with 123k, otherwise we suspect there would still be possibilities of some backup scores on this rig

    Also, we found another good E8500 recently ... that means another WR, this time for E8500 32M :

    SuperPi rig
    Core2Duo E8500 (Q746A, 1A0007)
    ASUS P5K3-Deluxe (79M0ACP39xxx Taiwan PCB) fully Vmodded, BIOS 0910
    2x1Gb HyperX 14400 (Micron D9GTR)
    7300GT GDDR3
    Samsung 40GB SATA (SP0401C)
    WinXP SP2

    CPU cooling : Vikingpot 1.2 + LN2 (temp in the -140C zone during bench)
    Mobo cooling : stock cooler + two 120mm
    mem cooling : stock cooler + 120mm

    Vcore = 1.74V DMM (Vcore mod)
    Vpll = 1.85V DMM (Vpll mod)
    Vtt = 1.40V (BIOS set)
    Vmch = 1.75V DMM (1.7V via BIOS)
    Vmem = 2.35V DMM (2.25V via BIOS)
    CPU GTL : 0.67x via BIOS
    NB GTL : 0.61x via BIOS

    5:8 divider, strap333 via BIOS

    Tweaks:
    OS base - exact same as the one posted in Team OCX zone
    basic reg.tweaks
    only 3 services left running + drivers' chop by "Autoruns"
    CDT (OPB's method with WinRAR files)
    explorer off, priority CPU1, affinity high

    boot at 600x9.5 then clockgen to 609x9.5 just before hitting "OK" on the 32M

    32M screen:

    And we have some young benchers growing up as well (that's another rig and an unsuccessful yesterday's bench though)

    hey pro
    why not give it another last shot with your cards before you move to 280s

    Vince is going to party poop on these when you start hitting 125K+ hhehehe

    but there is now also that E8600 coming in

    Sam why don't you guys update the bios to P05 so that you don't have to fight HDD Corruptions as well
