Talking Finally in the 5 Ghz club

    Hi there ;
First i want to thanks all members here for their help .
Well it is pretty hard to post in this forum section due to the amazing overclocks . Now i got the vapochill ls (thanks to Etoh ) and i can show some decent result . Since the vapochill ls was fully broken while it was traveling i have serious with but it still cold enough for 5 Ghz .
    System used :
    P5B-e plus (560 fsb stable with stock cooling) : air , full mod . chipset @ 1.55v
    Ocz 9200 2x1 GB : air :2.1v
    E8500 . vapochill 1.5v
8800GT (water) and some other crap
    420w psu

Here the result . I am waiting for new mount since the vapochill did not come with the 775 kit and the evaporator has a poor contact with the cpu (delta over 50 c)
Note the unit include the R22 , tomorrow i will swap it with R404 . when the new mount will arrive i will update this result for sure
Note this was far from the max , @ this frequency i can even game (1.30h tested ) . but my temp are pretty poor -25c idle and 10c load
    Sorry for damn poor english

A very nice start, now you just need that new mount and 5200MHz should be yours

Nice work buddy. Efficiency is affected by daily use-OS, 9.4xx is possible without too much effort. To join 6 Ghz club on singlestage try a Cedar Mill, you've got a proper P5B-E Plus.
    The Initial value finished

5 GHz under water . This cpu hold 4.7 under water but it require at least 1.5 v to be stable . i think that u may require 1.65v for screen shot 5 ghz and 1.75 v for 2 hours stable work before getting this chip burned

I don't think i will burn the chipWill make some cold distill water to mix in for lower tempAnyway,i will try to squeez whatever i have from this chip but most likely i will go for E0 stepping chip

Hi, I saw on the screenshot that your aux is 119c degrees. I have a asus p5k-e wifi/ap and speedfan says the exact same thing with me.
Is it speedfan that is wrong or?

qft. i have a vapochill... but i got it for dirt cheap.

makes me wish i had gone custom... but now im thinking about having it modded.

to answer a old question... i did it on p5q-e stock cooling... just a 120mm yate loon pointed in its general direction. the maximus i just got back from rma can do 550fsb

3dmark01 is my game of choice atm.
