Now if we can find ibby and work out that pin mod to boot at 200 vs 166 I can see 2400 on this system
    2400/2mb/800 on 4 cores.. I like it..

Yea, but you added a pci slot.. I am impressed, especially if it works.
    Nice work on that.
Now if you want the right HS for that the company that sells them is literally 10 miles from me.
They are $25.00 and $20.00 shipping.
Thievery on the shipping, but I can get 2 pairs and ship you one pair lots cheaper than if you order from there.

I doubt that the NIC would work. But the I-RAM most likely will. The problem I see is adressing the extra slot while it's not implemented BIOS-wise. The I-RAM however does only seem to need power from the slot and no real data-transmission. So this should be fine.

Maybe you could flash it with the bios of the "better" board to get everything working?

Or just pop open the bios and check to see if anything is disabled in it.

Wow, this is a totally awesome mod...

I can't wait to see if data transmission works (as suggested above you might have to crossflash the BIOS). Either way the power works, which is what you wanted, so assuming the board survived I'd say it was a complete success!

Crazy, I've been thinking of something like this since I saw the empty solder points for an AGP slot on my eMachines. I eventually just got a PCI Radeon 9250 . I was too chicken.

Never seen a PCI slot added to a board before...that's cool enough...and then for sure I thought your avatar was photoshopped...but no...that's just how you look...sometimes

Looking forward to your next move.

I going to echo alot other people when i say this is definitely one of the sickest mods i've ever seen.
As Los Alamos director J. Robert Oppenheimer watched the demonstration, he later said that a line from the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita came to mind:
"I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
Test director Kenneth Bainbridge in turn said to Oppenheimer, "Now we are all sons of b**ches." wiki
