    Maximus II Formula+E8500+SS+SPZ POT+LN2 (SX-TEAM)



    After all test with air cooling , it was time to test this Maximus II Formula under my Rotary SS system.

    System setup:
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (1.7V)
    MB: Asus Maximus II Formula (sponsored by ASUS)
    Mem: Transcend 1066 MHz
    PSU : Cooler Master UCP 1100W (sponsored by Cooler Master)
    Cooling: Spacemaster Rotary (-60C)
    Windows Server 2003 – Monteboy version

    Max clock 5652 MHz

    Next weekend we must go with LN2 and new POT Sub Zero Punisher

    Max so far is 615 MHz, but I thing it is the memory problem, because mem can not do more than 1245 MHz spi 1m

    get some cheap micron d9's and volt them till they stable
    good results. that pot looks like a crayon! you will get some awesome results out of LN2 :O

    Looking like i may have to get one of these the more i see the more i want. Should be nice results with ln2 as well.

    This is micron D9GHM based memory, but is sheet

    How high was Performance Level on this run?
    tRAS is quite high

    1.43 V, over that it is same because 65nm do not need the high voltage sets.

    This is run that tests CPU. PR is low, but with LN2 we will go with better mem. and results will be better.

    2600K working in 4.8 GHZ so far

    2600k @(4600 Ghz) 1.42v : (under water)
    Asus B2 mobo
    4 GiG DDR 2400 MHZ
    GTX 570 @ 1.063v ( 910/1820/2001 Mhz) .(under water).
    1020 W PSU

    Your tests make me belive our problem was the cpu not the board

    I think this is CPU problem to, but not because max FSB . I have try one more CPU and both can handle vcore higher then 1.73V, with maximus and the P5Q DLX, so I think this can be our primary problem...
