    How to interpret 3DMark scores

    I recently installed 3DMark03 and 3DMark06.
    When I run 3DMark03 at 1280x1024 I got a score of 15057
    and a score of 3916 with 3DMark06.

I wanted to know what these scores mean (particularly if my system's scores are too low or good enough) because I'm trying to rectify some blue screen error problems that might be associated with my newly installed GeForce 9600GT.

Please post the specs of your system.

You can search the ORB on futuremark's website with similar hardware to see how others' scores compare to yours with similar hardware.

I don't know if 3DMark will help you out with blue screen problems, but we will see.
Be sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed on your system from nvidia. Driver problems (and overclocking) are often the source of blue screens.

I haven't overclocked anything. And I have updated the drives more times than I can count.
But I figured out the problem or at least I think I have. I have run error free for several hours with itunes turned off.
When I turn on itunes and run it will playing this one game, I get image distortions, blue screens and all that.

    So I have banished itunes.

My system specs are in my sig.
The 3DMark website is the first place I checked. There was only one system that was put in comparison with mine and it was hardly similar. I believe it was the closest they could find.

It might be that itunes was putting load to the cpu, and there were some heat issues or just too much load (probably not the case) OR there are just some driver issues with itunes?
either way, hope the problem has been fully taken care of.

Funny I didn't even notice that sig of yours

Trying to save up some money for more RAM.
I don't think my 1GB RAM will do my gaming proper justice.
