Cool GTX 260 Settings & Benches Thread

Here are some benches of my vanilla 260's in XP w/ my E8400 and 790i Ultra.

    23,014 3dmark 06

    4.668ghz - CPU
    752 - GPU Core
    1573 - Shader
    1145 - Memory
    30,655 3dmark 05

    4.668ghz - CPU
    752 - GPU Core
    1573 - Shader
    1145 - Memory
    65,849 3dmark 03

    4.668ghz - CPU
    752 - GPU Core
    1573 - Shader
    1145 - Memory
    87,146 3dmark 01

Here is my Vantage score in Vista as well:

Very nice indeed and the best part is the cards should have plenty left in them even on stock air.

Well come on Linchpin let's see some benches with those super high clocks on your card and do include the gpuz.

Like you drnip I just got my new 260GTX and have just played a little bit with it. I had to build and test a couple systems this weekend.

One of them was even for me!!

I did get a little time with my New card and since it was 95 degrees yesterday even with water I had to stay in the 4600mhz range.

I am pushing my memory further than you are. I am also on XP-Pro.

I'll just post one so as not to try and take over the thread.

This card features the most stunning DVD playback I have ever seen!!

As you can see all my clocks are still consevative and I see from your clocks I can go farther!!

I pushed a bit more on aquamark.

Note I got the mem up over DDR2600 without a problem.

Thanks for posting up your tests!

Gives me more to think about. Perhaps this should be turned into a 260GTX owners thread!!

That is with one single card running on the Asus P5E look closely at the futuremark result page. Down to the lower section it will tell you what my board is.
This is a powerhouse for a single card!!

Thanks, I might still try and get the memory to the DDR2600 mark but I doubt it will play along.

    EDIT:

Doesn't want to work properly at 2600, passed ATI Tool Artifact scans fine but I got a driver error when I began looping the Crysis benchmark.

I don't see how you hit 28k with one card. Here is my score with one card:

    17776

Of sourse that was only at 4.5ghz on the cpu. If I would have had it at 4.725ghz it would have been 18-19k.

nice scores, If I weren't getting the 4870, I would get the 280, and if I didnt get the 280, id get the 260 (or two 4850's ).

But isn't your 17776 score in 3D Mark 06 and his 28k score is in 3D Mark 05? Or am I misunderstanding something here.

Dual 260's is an area a lot of folks are missing out on - but it hits the sweet spot of what SLI is really all about, 2 mid (mid high in this case) range cards that do a fantastic job doubled up.

    Nice, nice work.

That is a pretty nice score. My score at 4.5ghz was the 17,776. I will have to get back in there and set my gpu specs to yours and see the difference with my ddr3 board and your ddr2 board.

Thanks, hopefully if enough of us get in here and keep experimenting we'll be able to better optimize these really great cards. I just can't get over the DVD playback quality.
I read a test of this card aswell as the 280 and the 4870x2. On DVD playback they all three scored the highest on the testing program ever!

    all 3 scored a 128 out of a possible 130.

Well I am just very impressed by everything about this card.

Sorry that this is an off topic, but would I be better off with one of these 260's over my 8800GTX, or maybe a couple of 512mb 9800GT's?
