    [Worklog] Armorsuit PC-P80

I'd like to thanks Ashraf for doing all the modding Since im too noob to do it. I got the idea from Maxishine's rig found here:

    http://www.maxishine.com.au/document...g_project.html

Its almost exactly the same as what im planning to do.

    System specs:
    Intel C2Q Q9450
    eVGA 280GTX
    2x2gb DDR2 1000 G.Skill Ram
2x 640GB AAKS WD Hard Drives
Undecided on the mobo, most likely Asus P5Q P45

Still deciding on the Watercooling, but i will have a 360mm Rad in the front, cooling the CPU, GPU, and NB.

    Sketchup:

Basic mods, Painting the inside black. Motherboard holes. and ofcourse the side panel.

Ashraf shouldve received the case today, so pics coming up soon

So far, the case is sweet! The size of the case is exactly the same as my PC-A70. I am not sure why they called the PC-P80 "Super Full Tower" because I thought it meant it is bigger than the standard full tower.

Anyways, I am going to put it on hold until tomorrow or Friday. I need to study for the exam tomorrow.

Wow, very nice pictures i wish i knew how to take pctures like that

Thats a 120.3 Rad, with a EK 250mm Raditor, and a fillport on the top.

Hmm, i still need ideas on my side panel. I would like some random design, and not just a plain old square, but me nor Ashraf could think of anything, so any suggestions would be nice.

Also, Acrylic behind the "MUSSAFRY" or a mesh dsign and let it act like a vent?

Thats what i meant, the window on the left. I dont know what kinda shape i should make it. I think a plain old square is boring. Any1 got any ideas?

Other then that, whole WC setup and all the components should be arriving this week. Cant wait!!!

Not sure how far you'd want to go with the window, but my suggestion if you wanna keep the lian li theme throughout could include a round window with the lian-li logo etched into the acrylic. Though it is difficult to do

By round you mean a circle? Or rounded edges? I dont think im into the Etched Lian-Li logo though.

    Maybe this?

A thin lined M? Im so bad with thinking of something new or original :P

ok, i don't like your idea, but that is just my opinion.

i feel like you can do alot better than a clear window and just your name etched on it with such a nice case

put more time and thought into this, think about carefully placed components and tasteful mods

    here's an idea:

Have the standard clear rectangle out of clear acrylic for the hardware then have another rectangle where your letters are now (more slender and tall) with your name letters etched or sandblasted in then lit up with leds mounted on the side of the acrylic so they stand out lit up. Then I'd put some metal mesh behind the letters to keep from seeing a possible mess by the drive cage. You don't want to obscure the view of the hardware with a tacky M right in the middle.

Are you powder coating the inside? If so, let me know how much it sets you back.

No, not powder coating. Flat Black metallic spray paint.

The case does take eATX, and under the bump theres a built in fan controller. Only one knob though, controls the 3 front fans and the top exhaust.
