Did some quick tests yesterday with this kit and P5Q-DLX

    *450fsb 1133 5-5-5-15 @1.9V*, *490fsb 1176 5-5-5-15 @ 2.0V* and *395fsb 1184 5-5-5-15 @2.0V* and are working fine and stable.

No luck achieving 1200 yet, will try 375fsb to see if I can match G.S Technician tests.

I wanted to bump this thread as kpo6969 sent me a link with a review of the Pi 1100s: http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews....d=591&pageid=4
The review reports the 1000 MHz at 4-4-4 timings. Since I've never heard of PSC getting even 900 MHz at 4-4-4....what's the deal?

So far so good !! they do the 1100 @ 1.9 as spec'd
I have had them upto 1180 and they worked fine until a random shutdown
which I honestly dont think was ram related , (broken sata connector on a drive I was backing up)
Needless to say we are going to crank em up a notch
and get cranking on the timings and limits.

So far , an excellent kit for the money , cannot be beaten IMHO.

i have 3 of this ram kit. and they are all crap out at about the same point, around DDR2-1160, the ram modules don't seem to like voltage either.
and the max fully stable are not more than DDR2 1140-1152. i'm not sure about the ones that i don't own them.
i kinda knew about this ram kit model before i bought them, it's best for using this kit at its spec and low voltage use on it.

it won't die on you i don't think this kit will die easily at all.
i was just saying you can't expect that this kit will overclock high.
but nevertheless, after using this kit for a while, it's a very good 2x2GB dimms.
all of my 3 kits are able to run with only 1.86v vdimm up to a ram speed of DDR2-1135,
for 4x2GB dimms i just have to give them a little more volts.

    Just an update:
    5-5-4-12 @ 1000mhz 1.87v best I can get. (+.01 on the ram also)
+.02 gives me 1.982, tried 5-4-4-12 with that, no go

Yeah so far in the upper ranges 1100 -1187 ish which is the max at stock volts I can get.
It never goes above around 8500mb/s r/w , I am wondering about the real volts like 2.2-2.4

But so far exactlly what I was looking for , high bandwith low volts heat

Yeah, I don't think this RAM was intended for higher volts at anything more than 1200, in fact I think you'd be lucky to get close to 1200 at any voltage or timings. Reasonable speeds at lowish volts and heat is the niche here.
