    xp1700+ @ 2.5ghz air

    What do you guys think?

    8rda+ Rev 1.1 A1
    AXDA1700DLT3C JIUHB 0319WPMW
    2x512mb twinmos ch-5 dc sync

This is on a crappy Vantec AeroFlow....
If only I had better cooling, I would be willing to risk more.
For the limited testing done, it's stable so far.

    Sweet!

I'm playing with a new 1700 also...crappy air cooling. Here's where I am so far.

thedude, that really isn't very good for a 1700+.......Mine can hit 2200mhz at 1.6Vcore.

I got all the way to 180fsb at 1.5 vcore and then it started demanding volts. I think it's my crappy cooling...an old SK7. I will see what it does in a 404 prommie soon.

    Now that's the spirit!

Those week19 1700+'s are demons, mine is now Prime+3d+Audio 24/7 @ 2.8GHz with only 1.8v in my Stock Prommie!

    Used to need 1.83-5v!

The SK-7 still gets the job done, provided you have a good fan on it.

With ambients of 69F and 1.7v of vcore, my CPU temp is 34C. I only have a 3200RPM fan too.

Case cooling also makes a large difference too.

    Re: xp1700+ @ 2.5ghz air

same stepping as mine... same results...

I have an old KT333 mobo and pc2700 so I ain't gonna get the memory bandwidth you are...

Last night I went to 14x180... more testing to come.

my 0319 acutally posts at 2745 on air!

I took my Antec sl350 apart, and there aren't any pots. Also there isn't a brown wire by the +3.3v orange lines. So I'm going to have to wait until I get home (at college now), and swap with my 400w antec psu.

Besides, my ram doesn't seem to want to go much higher than 218 stable. So not sure if improving the rails will benefit me at all.
