Oh what will they think of next!!

I could seriously use that on my Accelero S1 actually, a regular 120mm is hella bulky on there.

Being soo thin it may have bad pressure for heatsinks/rads... But should be nice for SFF cases.

Idd, the pressure will suck. But will do fine for free air aplication.

Do you think this would give any benefit to the GPU of an xbox 360? I'm considering buying one for that purpose, but curious about how the airflow would work.

    For a 100mm fan at 29db I'd expect at least 35cfm.

depends on your intention to power it and where to put it.
you wont fit it inside case for defo.
power it off powersupply and say bye bye to it... most people power extra fans over the usb's.
Also youd probably see more performance gain sending xbox back to microsoft for the upgrade they do.
and maybe in future buy lian li xbox case coming out.

you guys are taking note that these fans are 100x12mm, not 100x15mm, or 100x25mm, or 100x38mm

Well I plan to put it right on top of (blowing downwards) into the gpu heatsink (the smaller one), powered off the 12v connection near the power plug. What I'm wondering is, will having a fan blowing on such a short heatsink, in a case where the only exhaust is behind it, be better than what I currently have? As of now I have a slab of clear plastic plexi about 1mm thick covering from the standard shroud to all but the last .25" of the heatsink (known as the 'fan shroud mod'). Should I make a new topic in another area (xbox, air cooling)? Not sure if this is thread jacking cause I have some other ideas and questions.

It would have been a nice fan if it would fit on this cooler from thermalright:
    http://www.thermalright.com/new_a_pa...ler_trad2.html
That would make it a very low profile cooler which is ideal for CF.
