    Lian-Li PC-P80 vs. Stacker 830

If I install in the Stacker 830 four side fans
Which of these two cases get better temperatures for MB -GPU, pci cards, NB and SB, etc.-?
    Does anyone know this?
Thanks in advance for any feedback

    EDIT:
    Grrrrrr...
    My post is doubled.
Please, a manager that delete one of the two
    Thanks, and sorry

Well to be honest it's a hard question, the Slacker is an ultimate case , the shiny aluminium looks amazing from the distance and the cooling system is amazing too. The thing is you need a pretty strong fans to blow "through the motherboard" like 4* Noctua P12 if you like silence or 2000 rpm + Sytche Kazes, but usually if your CPU Cooler is Higher you need to put out one of those Fans and you'll use only 3, one exhaust fan on the top one on the back , 2x P12 in the front 3x P12 on the side. As far as i Know the Lian Li has only front cooling , the stacker can be with Kama Sytche Bay modified to the same intake as PC-80 has and Slackers side intake abilities are amazing. After i changed the side S12 800 which was blowing on RAM modules and other for a P12 1300 the temps went down pretty well.

PC80 may be an amazing case too but tbh Slacker 830 has amazing variability

That is exactly my idea! I have the TRUE Extreme w/P12, so i want to put 3 p12 in the side and 2 in the front bays, for the HDs. All right.
The Stacker is 80€ cheapest, so then iīll go for this case...
    THANKS...very valuable your input!

Go for the Stacker, It's an aluminium masterpiece, solid work and huge wariability, that's why i bought 830 over Lian Li 80, the variability

Isn't the bulkyness making it such a great case for many components ? If he needs good cooling and a good case and it's lacking storage space then the LianLi would be great, but if there are no issues with the room it will take then the Stacker is better, it's huge yes , but 3 [ 4 ] Side 120x120 fans , 2 [ 3 if not any other 5'25 drives are present ] intake fans , one upper exhaust , one back exhaust, and the ability of turning the mobo like BTX one = VGA cards at the top CPU at the bottom .

    BTW LianLi is 633 x 220 x 610
    Stacker 830 is 536 x 250 x 638

So LianLi is higher and more narrow
The Stacker is longer and wider = better for components from my point of view

But i won't argue or anything, LianLi is a noble piece of HW

    My vote Stacker

Ok, we know that CM donīt make their cases with the same lian-li top quality...My Stacker T01 is really bulky, bulky...But despite this, is the best case I've had so far. The 830, for sure, is better built. I think that is enough.

TJ09? That gets my vote for best overall air-cooled case.

EDIT: Especially since it's easier to add water later if you so desire.

Good case. But my shop donīt work with Silverstone.
The P80 have too a very fine pre-installation for water.

    The PC-P80 has my vote.

I think the Stacker 830 looks ugly and toyish.

THIS IS A BIAS OPION I has Stacker 830SE

have you considered the Price to Performance ratio...if there is such a thing for pc cases.

for $400 LIAN LI PC-P80 Black Aluminum those 3 front 140mm makes your airflow more...efficient. Being its one direction---towards the back.
Plus the whole case is a heatsink...must be cool to have one of these baby.

COOLER MASTER Stacker 830 Evolution SC-830K-KKN3-GP Black Aluminum $$220---comes in black (inside +outsied already) Side doors with option to air cool/mesh or clear/watercooling
Plus option to ATX or reverse ATX

Like I said...seems bias, due to my experience...PC80 is too expensive for me.
    Maybe not to you...I hope?

But at least your choices are excellent Sir

Just in this election donīt want to take into account first the Price/Performance ratio. Only at the end of all the other pros and cons. I could pay 80-100€ more for 4-5š less in my MB.
Three 14" fans in front, behind a mesh, Lian-li quality, Vs. 3 P12 in side and 2 12" fans in front for HDs, CM quality.
Who cools more? Thatīs the only question...

But at least your choices are excellent Sir

    hehe, thanks...i think so too...
my guess is CM830SE direct-towards-mb will cool more than PC80 wind-tunnel...coz the way the fan has to go thru DVD+HD+wires just to cool your MB...like I said its a guess....

I'm not OC'ing and just using FireFox while I took this Real Temp:

Don't know what it means, but that is with my spec (in sig) have + 2 side doors fans blowing towards the mobo, 3rd fan blowing hot air from GPU out, along with rear fan exhausting out too.

Hope this is helping you with your decision.

I'm curious what PC80 owners are doing with their temps

    Good day sir
