of course
the cubicle of the guy whos doing the tools is right behind me, let me check if we can make aegis modular so you can chose your own backgrounds
EDIT: just talked to him, atm he doesnt have time for this as hes working on the new version for an unreleased board.
The next version should have a theme matching the board it comes with, but you will be able to select a basic version which will make it look like cpuz/memset/coretemp. and then after that we will try to add an option that people can select their own colors and backgrounds.

if the spot your reading doesnt have a ground spot assigned to it, id recommend you to always use the "ground ring" of the screwhole of the board that is closest to the part of the mobo your measuring at.
Aegis panel reads:
29 cpu
29 system
36 nb
BIOS reads:
33 cpu
30 system
37 nb
higher reading in bios makes sense as the bios loads the cpu more than beeing idle in windows.
Aegis panel reads:
3080.48mhz cpu
2054 memory
100 pciE
same as i set in BIOS, so everything ok here...
Aegis panel reads:
cpu 1.28v idle
dram 1.96v
nb 1.73v
BIOS reads:
cpu 1.27v idle
dram 1.96v
nb 1.72v
same as Aegis panel... slightly lower vcore but thats most likely since the cpu is more loaded in BIOS than sitting idle in windows.
Now let me check reading the voltages with a DMM
thanks saaya ! you guys rock !!

thanks!
was so caught up in emails and pms and forum posts yesterday that i actually forgot to post my DMM readings
Aegis panel reads:
cpu 1.28v idle
dram 1.96v
nb 1.73v
BIOS reads:
cpu 1.27v idle
dram 1.96v
nb 1.72v
DMM reads:
cpu 1.288v
dram 1.959v
nb 1.790v
vpll 1.509v
vtt 1.100v
All readings are spot on!
Except for the nb voltage which seems to be 0.05v higher than what is set in BIOS.
I changed the setting and its always 0.05v higher reading from the MOSFET than what i set in BIOS.
I talked to the engineers and they said the best spot to meassure the nb voltage at is C357, which always reads 0.05v less than the MOSFET
So it seems the nb voltage is set correctly and read correctly in BIOS and displayed correctly in Aegis panel
PS: I meassured vcore from the top inductor that is closest to the boarder of the mobo and placed in an angle to all the other inductors
Thank you Sash :-)
My NB-DMM reading was wrong due to a faulty ground. So everything reads fine here.
really? so even whe you read from the MOSFET directly you get the right vnb now?
anyone got a link for this? shams link to qf website does'nt work, The page just hangs forever when I try to login.
The app on the disc dont work at all. does anyone have any idea when the qf website will be fixed?
it just hangs on login [loading] its been doing it for a few days?
I cant get in to update my bios/drivers/apps etc.
informed web admin, though i doubt it will be fixed
Are you on IE7, Firefox or?
anyways
download here
i registered several accounts and can log in with all of them
with IE and FF... weird... could it be cause im in asia and you guys are in europe?
EDIT: could it be a time thing?
Wasnt the original QF forum only available for 12 hours a day or something weird like that?
We are aleady working on getting files hosted elsewhere, so dont worry, should all be fixed soon
I think it's will be great if new version of aegis panel gave users access to multi
I haven't seen that option in aegis panel.

Foxconn ROCKS!
I'm forgot wrote, I'm using destroyer
so this is AMD
AOD doesn't work with nf780a
better than AOD is clockgen+memset or Aegis Panel + Memset.
AOD is for AMD chipset for this moment I don't have board with this chip.
have you got my pm ?
