BFG Phyxs cars drops score on 3Dmark06

Hi all,

I have a 9800GX2 in my PC, and I had a crazy idea that if I bought a Phyxs card, which 3DMark06 has the logo for, i thought it might increase my score. I ran 3DMark06 just before I put the card it, recorded my score. I put the new card in, powered it, downloaded tha latest driver, and ran it again. My score actually dropped by 300 points.

Is this to be expected or am I just being a plum and doing something wrong.

Physx cards are only good for vantage

So for playing games like oblivion, was it a waste of money then ??

yes.

only about 5 games worth mentioning are supported by Ageia Physx.

it has ZERO effect on a game that isnt actually supported.
