    ATI 4850/4870 voltmod thread

    LOL well...the cards are available in some places... if anyone has one, please post up high-res pics of the rear of the card and lets see how far they can be pushed once voltmodded

    here is the chip I will get a shot without the bridge blocking it in a few minutes. and higher res. it is in my rig right now. Stock volts 2d 1.05v 3d loaded 1.2v it will do 700 core with 1.2v.

    LOL well...it aint those points for voltage measurement then! What about the points beside the points I marked (for the top two points- the solder points to the right, for the bottom two, the points underneath them?)

    cool, I will get some better pics today, I am only working a half day, I would call in sick but I need the money for VR's and such got alot to do on my review thread to get it up. It would be done by now but I can't resist updating my favorite forum.

    The mod is pretty much the same as for HD3k series.

    I believe volt mod is done I will be testing saturday. Here is what I found. 100k vr either place to ground.

    Does anyone know where I can find the volt mod for the 5850? I've been searching for a while but cant seem to find them! Heh heh

    Are the resistances/voltages for the GDDR the same as the 3850 cards as well?

    Will update 1st post with everything once you confirm the VCore mod working
