I know nothing about it
A bit offtopic but i thought there ist this 4-in-1 Quantum-Cooler attached ?? I just saw that only the Heatpipe is included
Why not like the BLackops the whole thing like water and ln2 chipset Cooler ?
because on amd when nb is under ln2 overclocking is lover than air/wc/fwc and mem controller is in cpu not in nb so nb doesn't have to be cooled to -50C like it's in intel's (nvidia's chipsets for intel) chipsets.
But it would be nice to have for the Destroyer especially that optional Water Block.
Is it possible to get if directly from Foxconn ?
The 4in1 Cooler which you can find on the Foxconn Blackops. It should be on the Destroyer as well, but it has be canceld... i dont know why exactly.
Sry about my poor english

tell me somthing
where on this board you use the 4in1 cooler ?
between first and second pcie x16 slots ? [;
picture one
picture two
on destroyer you can't mount it. I think destroyer never had to have 4in1 cooler. and destroyer's cooler even doesn't has mount for watercooling, only extra cooling
but it's imo
does anyone know anything about this? Saaya?
Is there a vcore mod for over 1.8v @ cpu?
thanx
I talked to saaya about vcore mod, too. But up to now there is no solution. There is a mod but saaya said that it doesn´t work (because of this I didn´t try myself).
Because Deneb loves cold and high voltages he is aware of this and as far as I know they are working on it.
yeah, I talked with sayaa about it too
is anyone here has new bios ?
my latest is 10/10/08
on http://www.foxconnchannel.com theres one from 11/25/08
"Solved 1T/2T item function fail."
I'm still trying to get my board running, so I cant say anything about that BIOS.(or any other one for this mobo)

Any updates from anyone with the Destroyer...? (I know, I'm digging this thread up.)
On the topic of cooling the chipsets, would it be beneficial to use one of the HR-05 coolers on the NB? Assuming one can be properly mounted on there... that I don't know. Would there be a benefit towards better OCing? I'll be getting mine soon, and if better NB cooling would be a benefit, then I'll use the Enzotech SLF-1 for the SB, and probably make a water block for the mosfet (this is a WC system; I'd use the stock mosfet copper plate and solder on a proper pipe... we used to do the same with the VRM on old WC'd dual xeon PC-DL Deluxe boards). But the NB cooling "solution" is where I'm stuck... I mean would this be a benefit in the first place?

Not alot for me to update you with man.
But if you wish to share your overclocking results I am game for that.
I haven't yet pushed any extra voltage through my Phenom 2 940BE, but I am able to get to 3.7 ghz. with basic overclocking. This weekend I am defienately going to push this board further and see what I can do.
I am going to try a new bios and see what I can get. Fat Albert mentioned hitting 389 on the Fsb with bios p12. That is ridiculous, and I don't know if P2 will do that, but that would be sweet.
Also, I am learning about settings in the destroyer bios still. And I hope the new bios will have some nb settings for me to play with.
At the time i am still using the stock cooler, I have the extra heatpipe mounted. And I have the board mounted on the plexi-glass thing. So I have a huge "wind-machine" box fan blowing directly on it. A quick google search returned 4,750 CFM.

hi
can you tell me the bios version for destroyer with nb multi. mine doesnt have that setting.(9950 be)
Go to Quantum BIOS and you should see an option called 'CPU And NB HT Speed'. This option should theoretically adjust ht-multiplier and nb-multiplier at the same time. But unfortunately this option doesn't work properly up to now and you can only adjust ht-link-multiplier.
For high nb-speed you need high reference clock up to now. But FOXCONN is working on that issue.
i tried that before.seems like that multi adjust only the htt. i will wait for new bios.the problem is that i cant raise the mem speed more than 460(920Mhz) because it doesnt even post if the NB freq goes higher than 2400Mhz(currently 2375Mhz).so now i have 12.5x238 2375Mhz both htt and NB vcore 1.30V very stable.
Looking forward to hearing how that goes music! If it works I'll have to shoot a pm to saaya.
