Hello, I wonder if you can run quad channel in Sandy Bridge And with two memories of 2GB and two 1GB memory, or if you only work 4 1GB or 4 2GB?

    thank you

it might work, i am guessing you already have the memory? And you are buying the board anyways? You can try it when you get the system and open CPUz and see what it says, and if it says dual you might need to get a matching density set.

i believe manuals say you need same density and speed, but we know we can mix and match speeds and have them still work, however all of them have to run at the same speed anyways, and speed isn't something set in stone.. but density is, so it might not work. My guess it wont work.
