'Office' Water Cooler as a Chiller - Been Tried?

Has anyone tried to use one of those office style water coolers as a chiller yet?

I'd be surprised if it hasn't been done. I realize that it is not going to get the water as cool as a regular AC unit but I know I've heard several people talking about wanting to get the water just a little colder than ambient and I think this would work quite well.

Anyone know anything about these things and using them in water loops?

    Thanks,
    ChR1s

Thanks!! I was just thumbing through the old posts to see how what was around. I either have a 1/4 hp or 1/9 hp compressor at home - I'll look up the model number tonight when I get done work.

    Thanks again.
