    Cheez Got A New Car

Got me a new hot rod.

Brand new '08 Lexus IS350 Black w/ tan interior.

The car has some dust on it since I drove off the lot yesterday. It's a black car. For now, interior shots. This weekend if it doesn't rain I'll wash and wax and take pics....

    I love this shot.

    Another favorite...

    it's a RWD. The IS350 only comes in RWD V6 3.5.

Very nice looking car. Interior looks top notch.

The only thing that is bugging me is that the door handles and the steering wheel looks like they were pulled right out of a standard toyota

Not what I would get for that money, but it is an excellent car

The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. I love the look of it, although i'm disappointed that Toyota caved in and went for a V6 over an I6....stupid safety regs.

IS250 has the AWD option, there is no IS300 in the latest model year.

cheez isnt uncomfortable the way they put the buttons for the power windows ?

one thing i hate and is the same in my car, i love the honey comb grill in the bottom of the bumper looks sporty but hate the bar grill, same issue with my car sporty bumper with honey comb, but the damn grill is like the lexus one

love the rims, the interior is sweet but i prefer black on black that color is a nightmare to keep clean, love the pedals they look very nice you forgot to take engine pics

really nice car, but to be honest i like more the acura tl you had

    Thanks guys.

leviathan18, I haven't been happy with the Acura TL's interior (and exterior) build quality. Fit and finish is poor. More serious problem was the manual transmission where it's difficult to engage into 3rd gear. This is a known issue with the manual tranny's on the TL models.

I liked the handling of my TL 6MT though. it was tight and firm.

The stock IS350's are capable of getting low to mid 13's in the quarter mile, and the trap speed of 104~ 105 mph.

Here is one with just an intake upgrade:

the 3rd gear is a problem with fwd honda trannies. the syncros are really weak, much weaker than they should ever be, honda didnt see that as a problem for some reason. my integra started to grind almost every time i put it in 3rd above 3k rpm before i sold it.
