If I am not mistaken when u run 1 GFX u just get 16x lanes , but when u run Xfire then u will get 2x 8x lanes on a P45, whereas the X38/X48 got 2x 16x

Sure but if you put the radi controller in 2nd or 3rd ? pcie slot... it would get zero lanes with your explanation. So i think mobo will handle it like a 2nd gfx card and switch to 8/8 config. Pls correct me if i'm wrong

You get 8/8/4, that 4 running through the southbridge

i have some trouble with my P5Q Dlx (Bios 0506) and the 1:1 divider!

it boot only with 5:6 divider

Strap 333, first four bla bla something settings @ Normal, CL5-5-5-15, all other settings @ AUTO for now

BigJoe I'm currently testing ram bandwith, but geting very poor results here ( not even matching my P5K dlx )... Lowest power level I can select is 9 otherwise no post at 400FSB, for 450FSB limited to 10, Ram at moderate, Ram in Sync at 5-5-5-15 2T (2 x 2 Gb dimms)

P5K is one performance level lower... prolly a newer bios will fix this as I cannot get the board to boot ( no matter what voltages I put in...)

Also Static read control needs to be disabled otherwise no post either here...

Quick test with QX9650... never got this CPU to work at 485Mhz before ( didn't post with the Maximus SE) will see if I can get it higher...

I won't test Loadline calibration Jupiler, bit scared of bad spikes with the Qx... (cost me too much) might test it with one of the E8XX's...

But here's a quick run at 3.6Ghz and loadline on auto too but that is the same as disabled...
