    ASRock P45 & P43 Motherboards Unveiled
    (P45R2000-WiFi and P43R1600Twins-WiFi)

Today, ASRock let Hardware Canucks (among some other sites) get a very quick and tantalizing glimpse at their upcoming P45 and P43 boards for Intel 775 processors. While neither of these could be considered a particularly high-end product, they both have some very interesting features like compatibility with both DDR2 and DDR3 ram. Unfortunately, we do not have the complete specifications as of yet but this small article will be updated with ALL relevant information as it becomes available to us. Below is some of the preliminary information that was handed to us.

layout of those boards = epic fail.

the power connector is in a retarded position, the ide connector as well, the pci-e x16 slots are too close together, the sata connectors at the top would be a good idea if at the other side (for cases with e-sata connectors at the upper end of the front) but as they are they go to waste, no cmos reset button...

but then its a budget board, so I should be happy about it, since it atleast makes other boards that cost more look good

3 PCI slots available even with a double-slot GPU, 8 SATA slots... wouldn't surprise me if there are a few people who would like that in a sub-$200 board.

That said, those two features in no way necessitate the board's other problems.

ASRock has the worst possible layout, and their colors are almost as bad as Gigabyte's. I personally would take a DFI P35 board over an ASRock P45 board any day.
