    Dual-Impeller Pump - "Kaltmager"?

Was browsing the photos on Million-Dollar-PC site and saw one of the rigs apparently sporting a pair of dual-impeller pumps with acryllic tops. Had the name "Kaltmager Edition Watercool" on them.

Does anyone have any info on these? Customs pumps? Seems to me that besides looking SICK , they'd have a potential of being top-notch performers.

Rig architect was listed as Stefan Eisenacher.

Nope, not that. I mean, it may be a custome top that fits two DDCs, but at very least, they go on the same side of the top.

    Here's what I mean:

I think it says Kaltmacher - The cold maker.

Its two DDC per block. I don't they work together (either the two blocks or between blocks).

Found them on watercool.de (says on the block as well)

Look at the top plate with hex screws, I guess it's machined so the input flow into both inlets and the outlets is merged back into one outlet barb.

I bet the performance is not great compared to other tops but convenience might compensate for this.

This means that they work in parallell. However (my german is rusty so don't take my word for it), but it seems the desciption says that it is possible to connect these in series

    More pics.

    Translation from google:
With the dual DDC case, the power users the maximum possible performance. The very good performance levels, Laing DDC pump are almost doubled. These two pumps are serially linked. The increased pumping capacity, it is possible to the performance of the entire cooling system. In addition to the possibility to combine two pumps, the dual-Case DDC also G ¼ thread for mounting conventional connection systems. The housing consists of cast acrylic glass and a cover made of stainless steel.
    It's a strange description.

    What Zehnsucht said..

    Here

But I beg to differ, it does look like they are in series.

Can't link directly to the site.

But with help from Google translate.

"With the dual DDC case, the power users the maximum possible performance.

    Technical data:
    Dimensions (LxWxH): 125 x 70 x 24mm (without connections, without pump)
    Weight: 270g
    Material: acrylic GS (cast)
    Ports: 2x G1 / 4 inch thread

    Delivery:
1x Dual DDC Case (without pump)

    Warranty: 2 years"

And they do sell the top seperate.

I stand corrected. It seems indeed they are connected in parallell.

dude the first one you linked is my pump.

    The watercool one is different.

The first one by hardware lux WILL NOT FIT DDC-3.2 Martin had to mill mine down to get it to work.

The HWLux is a dual inlet version. the second inlet is optional but i managed to figure out a way to use it and make it clean. Which is my second picture.

The pump basically looks like this except that top barb is on the side so the water flows sideways and falls down the 2 inlets. This was the only way i could configure it without having flow fanatics yell in my ear.

I personally like it, its unique and its very bling. Plus i think im probably the first one to use it with the DDC-3.2's. The performance is great, i get good temps since its powering just the CPU loop.

    Persephone has 4 ddc's.

Anyhow more pics of the HWLux:

Now that is pretty sick. I want to make something like this, sadly the enthuasiast side of my brain won't let the impulse buyer side of my brain buy anything that isn't sub-ambient related

oh that top does look tight.

Maybe i can talk someone in EU to buy one for me and ship it to me.

    I have a collection fetish.

Just to let you know if you placed them side by side, the unit would get quite massive. The HWLux version overlaps a little.

@ this point honestly, 2 ddc's + top = RD-30 $ wise. All you need is the 40 dollar meanwell to finish it.

RD-30 = TONS more reliable, the only way you would go dual DDC's is bling or footprint.

So, serially linked as it is, this thing should be a nice option for those running two pumps. Besides, it looks awesome. Hmm...may have to rethink my plans now.

    Naekuh,

If you have DDC-2s (red impeller), you should try them. They're fabulous with the HardwareLuxx.

lololol rolftomato...WC fetish. I live in germany alright. Both of the dual watercool and hardwareluxx top pop up several times at ebay.de for the past half year but I have no interest in it. Btw some of the WC part in aquatuning are overprice...look at enzotech NB, D5, mcw30 and mcw60 price. I end up importing from sidewinder for my second loop.

Not that I know what an Iwaki feels like, or how it performs, but I'm pretty confident that a RD30 can be replicated by two of these Hardware Luxx with 10w pumps. Unfortunately that involves four pumps.

    iany its much easier mounting a RD-30 + meanwell vs 4 DDC's \

Then that would mean i would have a 6 DDC loop since im doubled up on the gpu end. More for redunancy then performance on gpu sector. Sorry im never going to be 100% confident in a DDC.
