Overclockers, Big Contest coming soon !

Yo guys - apparently Tom's is hosting a world-wide overclocking competition. They say that they are inviting single entries, teams and even whole websites to compete. Seems that they are also flying people to Los Angeles or something for a shootout. What I find pretty cool is the fact that we're allowed to use liquid nitrogen and stuff. Pretty extreme cases of overclocking there. We should try to form a team of sorts. I'm wondering if a "Tom's Team" will be competing with other websites and such; now that would be awesome to see -- which website is the better overclocker haha.

It's US-only, not worldwide, which means a lot of the top overclockers are shut out.
No offence to the US overclockers, which are some of the best around, but this means none of the German, Italian, French, Asian, Scandinavian, etc. can come.

Such "competitions" are p*ssing me off, especially when hardware companies(motherboard, RAM and cooler makers) are organizing such events. We all are their regular customers but only US customers are privileged to participate.

I think the fact that they are providing airfare only makes sense from a business model to only make it available to US residents.

Totally down for this. I hope I can hammer out a few more scores between now and the submission date, need to pad that HWBot score a bit more.
