    G80 has two six pins one eight and one six. Also the NVIO chip has only 2 mount holes not four.

    afaik d10u is just a g92 refresh anyways...
    i dont see what the big deal about it is...
    its still not a new gpu guys...

    xello, i dont think so, a ppu even in 45nm would be bigger than that...
    unless they made it smaller and simpler... and id rather except them to make it more complex and bigger transistor wise...

    I don't understand why everyone thinks nV "should" dump the architecture they have now and move to some "new GPU" design. Really, their chips are roughly twice as fast as those of the competitor. No reason to shoot a milking cow.

    It is not a backwards thing, is just that you have so many transistors and the GPU is so big already that you just move part of the GPU out from it. Then as in G80 we could see a refresh that has just 1 chip solution.
