Few questions for you if you don't mind answering them.

First, is the waterblock made of pure copper or is it some kind of plated alloy? It looks amazing but I have to make sure it will run safe in my loop

On that same note, how is the contact. We have all seen the Asus Maximus Extreme and many of us have noticed that there is not nearly enough contact (or just crappy cement) between the block and the NB, which rendered all the goodness of watercooling useless. Does this waterblock perform equally to an aftermarket one say from Danger Den or EK?

Third, please tell me that auto overclocking isn't present, or at least not turned on by default.

Anyways, thanks for the pics, I am not the most accomplished overclocker, however this board looks badass enough for me to step up my game :P

Water block is PURE COOPER as I can feel/weight it....with a perfect inside design too.....

DO NOT REMOVE it because the contact of it is PERFECT......
With a Swiftech cooper(base 1mm thick and alum (fins) heatsink and a DELTA fan 4 x 4cm at 10000rpms , I have 36*C on the Northbridge at 1.6Volts......With the default heatsink/block with a delta fan on it too(I have unscrewed the top of the block), I have 33*C......

Waterblock has a perfect inside design (sophisticated well) with internal cooper fins.....

    Auto overclocking?.....I don't think so.....

Oh man, my right arm to even see NB temps in the 40s! I'm really liking the sounds of the cooling setup.

On that note ... I'm looking at what I think are the (blue) hdd/sata power outlets

I think there's a good chance my lower GPU will be sitting right on top of them. I guess that's where those "L" sata cable connectors come in. I'm not familiar with the "L" shape connectors, but unless they plug into the mobo in both directions, I'm not sure I could fit more than 3 of 'em in under this big gpu? (Which is ok now, but I'm thinkin' of getting a 4th HDD.) Do those cables "go both ways" like that?

    Cheers,
I have used 3 S-ATA cables all the time. Two L-shaped and one normal. There is no problems with those cables and todays vgas. (3870X2 and 9800GX2)

One nice picture for all the scholars out there

    Great team indeed!
You are as good as your samples are!

Thanks SF3D. Just to clarify, although I'm pretty sure I'll be ok with 3 cables plugged in, would there be enough room for 4-6 being under the GPU? Or did you mean 2 L's and a normal cable in each row?

    Cheers

Thanks for the DETAILED pictures. This board, as well as Foxconn, has caught my interest. I somehow didn't expect a detailed and complete retail package. I don't know why...

Thanks for the link. Those are the best settings for D9GTR for sure. I have tested both G.Skill and Cellshock at those settings too

    it is increasing the fraction...
for example gtlref is like 0.66 x vtt
    so + 1 step is like 0.6605 x vtt
    something like that
