    Looking for 5x 120mm fans

I'm looking for 5x120mm fans for my CM stacker case, 3 in the side, 1 on the back, and 1 to replace my current Tuniq stock one or to go on the side of the new Sunbeam cooler.

The best thing would ofcourse to buy 4x sanyo denki san ace's and one x25mm for the tuniq slot. But no matter how hard I try I can't find a proper shop for them.

I'm looking for fans with high CFM, and resonable db. Not delta's nor yate loons ( i got 3 of them now and I can hardly feel any air moving from them ).

Which options do I have, some say S-FLEX, some say Zalman F3 and what about Silverstone FN121, I tried the FN 122 x33, thought it were abit loud.

    Some help please.

Just re-checked on the Zalman ZM F3. It's very cheap. Reminds me of a yate loon, which I find crap. Are there a fan controller with it, and how much air does it push?

I find the Zalmans rather good, I've got 11 scattered over various systems. They push plenty of air and can be slowed down from 1800rpm to 900rpm using the bundled resistor.

Some Yate Loon D12SH or D12SM will be just fine. I prefer the D12SH and undervolt them if needed.

for me i consider using the zalmans for performance and the s flexs for silence. have them both and the only sound you will hear from the s flex fans are the sound of moving air, the bearings are completely silent. the zalmans are slightly louder but have better performance. currently i am using 3 zalmans for case fans. 2 of the green led version for intakes and 1 of the regular of exhaust. i am using a 1200 rpm s flex inside my case to move air.

I have an Ultra Kaze 2000, on full its pretty intolerable (3000rpm version would be wtf to me) and undervolted there is a high pitched whine. /shelved

Yates are brilliant assuming yours isn't faulty or fake (used 120mm S and 140mm S/M), but I favour Zalman F3 and Scythe S-Flex F both on controller which I used on my CM690.
With the HAF it comes with supplied 200mm fans so right now I just have a Zalman F3 on my TRUE heatsink on controller, I find about 1300-1400rpm is the sweet spot.

So personally for vertical mounting, go with F3's because they are very good performers and under half price of Scythes but are sleeve bearing so leave the flat mounting to S-Flex.

yea when i got some 92mm fans for my trad2 i thought about getting the 92mm zalmans but then i saw scythe made kama flex fans which are a 92mm version of the 120mm version and those are great.

Zalman ZM-F3's make good CPU/Radiator fans. Push air through restrictions fairly well, and are decently quiet. Same goes for the Yate Loon Mediums and Highs (from Petra's).

For regular case fans, call me a heretic but I use the 4-pack Cooler Master black 120mm fans. They're very quiet, decently cheap, and while they don't push a lot of air, they do push enough for a regular case fan. Since I usually use cases like the CM690 and Centurion 590 where I regularly use 6+ fans, the low price of the CM 120mm's work out fairly well (over here in Australia they're about AU$18 for a 4-pack, as opposed to most 120mm fans which are AU$15-20 a piece).

120mm Yate Loon medium speed fans over at Petras are 4 for $19.96. I use them in my CM 690 & 590 cases.

Sorry, should have clarified that the 4-pack CM 120mm fans are AU$18. I haven't found anybody in Australia selling Yate Loon's at a decent price, and the cost of shipping kinda ruins Petra's low price for Aussies

Are they the same black fans that come with the CM690? They are pretty decent ~1000rpm, push decent air IMO.

Yep, same ones as far as I can tell. I'd need to check model numbers to be exact, but they push pretty much the same amount of air for the same amount of noise.

on full speed they are quite loud, but they undervolt brilliantly, 1300rpm is quiet enough for day to day use on desktop (gaming would be inaudible) and about 700-800rpm would be almost inaudible (for sleeping)

for me i use 1200 for desktop and light load and i max them out when im gaming or benching. really tho the only sounds they make are the sounds of moving air so the louder it is typically the more air it is moving.
