    First run, not overly impressed with it at this point. Kind of reminds me of '05 vs. '06 If the next version shows the same improvement as those programs then I'll be happy.

    I did this last night, just happens to be me first time playing with vantage.

    Stock CPU fan, Chipset isn't watercooled(it doesn't even have a fan on it), and the cards have the stock heatsinks on them.

    And there is no escaping the fact that Jane Nash graphic test looks like complete and utter garbage. (Wave Race 64 anyone?) the textures are horrible, and the animation is just plain sad.

    Look: just replace the jet ski out fit with the cheesy orange camo suit of the guards in Jane Nash and we can see where Futuremark got their 3D models from...

    And take a look at this video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SebG_R6CI9Y

    Wave Race even has better animation than the guards in Jane Nash does and better water physics....

    And to top it all off we are still subject to banner ads when we paid for the advanced version? Oh and lets not forget that they are penalizing systems without a physx card! Ageia is dead and yet they still think it should be part of your system!?

    Vantage = Trash
    I completely agree, 3dmark2006 was crappy too, a few shader enhancements over 3dmark05, 05 was ok, but 2003 is still my favourite, it addded the most, and offered a wide variety of tests

    but I still hate you for putting that screenshot up, the nostalgia factor is driving me nuts!
