    Cellshock DDR3 1866 preview....

    Hi Guys

    Thx to Saaya, i had a chance to play with Cellshocks new 1866 8-8-8-16 Blue sticks. i will only show some fast 1m results for now, and later test 3d with more tight sub timings, and also see how they scale with more vdimm.

    All tests is done at 2.08 vdimm for now. Also i will try to see how high i can go with higher TRAS later.

    Cas 6 results will come later

    But here are a couple of initial 1m results, to give you a idea of what the mem are capable of


    Setup:

    P5E64 WS Evolution
    Cellshock DDR3 1866 8-8-8-16
    E8500
    NQ giant Reactor 1kw


    The Memory:

    When you do your final test, can you please try to tighten:
    tRFC
    Ras to Cas
    tRRD

    Im quite curious what JNL can actually do... I dont have any JNL myself...

    I think 43-48 will be the one you hit... What Im most interested in is if JNL allows ras to cas 5 around 800-900mhz, would actually be very good... Ras to cas has severe impact on the performance.... Same goes for PL, but thats limited by chipset... ras to cas isnt.

    @ saaya; Can you comment upon any 2 * 2 GB kits (14400) coming our way soon? Extremely pleased with today’s sticks but it seems that I need a couple of GB’s more. Vista Ultimate is somewhat demanding and I don’t want to go with 4 * 1GB...
