now i never said it was for phenom, just asking in general. for instance my biostar has options above 1.5, but it goes into "safe mode" with anything above 1.5


and i will have fun blowing my cpu's up

It's sable as long as I don't attempt to diddle with OC.

When I dropped in my Phenom, it booted at 1.05 according to BIOS Health. Once I F7ed it and rebooted that feature went away.
How do you get CnQ to work on a Phenom when not OCed? At least untill someone (AMD/DFI) fixes this !

Don't know man? I have no idea if they changed anything from Beta to official and the C&Q thing don't know about that either.

Hi guys! I´m trying to get my 9850 stable @ 2800 with stock 1,3v, Go one core that keeps craching on me. So I upped CPY NB volt to 1,3 and it seams to have helped, but is it safe for24/7?

For CnQ works, you need to set VID's and FID's at default, CPU multiplier at AUTO in genius page, and NB/SB voltages at AUTO.

I am running youre template settings but by chip is carppy, needs atleast 1,31v for 2.8Ghz Whats youre load temps on CPU\PMW\NB? Placed an AMD 70mm fan on top of PWM heatsink and it helps alot.

so how do i squeeze more out of this cpu?...i got M2R board, 9850 BE, ballistix tracer 1066...what settings do i need to modify, cause at stock the cpu crashes at 2.7 :S

are these cpus really such bad overclockers?

Follow my template on the Front Page some have luck with it other then myself some don't. Try it and see but be patient with the Phenom their is a big learning curve!~
