    Talking started kicking E8500

well after sometime beeing very busy in the real world , if started back benchen .
last friday i picked up a retail E8500 from a friend , and started testing the little basterd

    SETUP:
    http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90...g?t=1208811164

    mobo: Abit IP35 PRO , bios 17.B02 , heatpipe mod , 0 vdroop mod.
2de mobo: DFI P35 van massman die dat vorige keer 600+fsb deed met onze ES chip
3de mobo: ASUS Commando thx to asus (ownd by massie)

mem: OCZ Reaper 9200C5 , Teamgroup 6400C3 , OCZ kitje from gamer .
    GFX: 9800GTX tomorrow/6200LE
    PSU: OCZ proxstream 1000watt
    Cooling: AIR scythe mugen , single stage -45°C for something , 2stage cascade R507/R1150 -100°C , Ln2 Dragon F1EE - Tek-9 3.0
OS: XP PRO SP3 custom/2003 server tweaked thx massman

    CPU: retail E8500 Q748A212

first some air voltage testing , so far i only tested with the Abit board
    1.3vcore

    1.35vcore

    1.4vcore

    1.45vcore

    1.5vcore

    and a screen @ 1.6vcore on air

the abit board is very good for SPI 1M

now i got bord very fast so i go to the cascade for some more 2D benching
all benches done on 1.75vcore and 1.7vcore more is not needed .
    max fsb speed/mhz by motherboard

no i see that i need the dfi fast .

SPI 1M very happy about that but i want more

some pifast something that i never do

    and wprime
    http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=726167
    http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=726160

did run SPI 32M but the os is no good for that, and no good time so i dont wanne show it .
could run with no problems 5.3ghz 1.75vcore 32M under the cascade.

tomorrow we have some 3D with 9800GTX , maybe il rerun 32M then .

thx for reading and stay tuned for more greetz blind OC-Team.BE

Hi Blind i have your same E8500 with fpo number q748A212.

Vid is 1.1125v and i can achive stability at 4.0ghz only with 1.36v under full load.

My mobo is a dfi p965-s dark, 2x1gb TeamGrupop pc6400 micron d9 chip 2.2 with 120mm fan that blows on.

    NB =1.55v
    SB= 1.6v
    SB 1.05v = 1.10v
    timings 5-5-5-15 2T relaxed

I can't get 4.2 stable because cpu required more voltage .... 1.45v under full

    Please help me.

Whats highest FSB youve got with this E8500 on another board? Tried 4 commando's so far and all did 600 easy, 570 sounds a bit too low for max board.
