Those QX9775 cpus are good. I could take my samples easily to 5.5GHz on dry ice. Wprime didn't like to run good at that 5.4GHz speed, and score was worse than with 5.16GHz
I got 3.811s and you got 3.450s. So 540MHz more is worth 0.361s
I used setfsb, so it will work for sure.

Not sure about quad-sli. I did some testing pushing the cpu's in 2006 with the kingston Fb dimms about 440mhz 3-4-3-10 so far. CPU's are 5700mhz capable in 2006, maybe more.
Gtx's in SLI may work better on this mobo than gx2's in quad as I think as there some issues with pci-express frequency oc'ing and gx2 when pushing the card hard that needs some working on before I proceed.
Decent cpu score for the cpu speed..
Pushing the Fb dimms at cas3 2.44v. pretty sure vmch mod is needed at this point to go further(working on it). GX2 on air.
