Ive been playing the game now for two days (early access), and am thoroughly impressed by its performance.

With my E8400 @ 4.0 Ghz and my 3870 at stock, and a 1280x1024 resolution, I average 24-30 FPS with every setting maxed out and 4x AA, or 19-26 FPS with 8x AA!

You have to admit that is good for this games engine

I ordered a pair of cheapo overclocked 3850's and am getting rid of my 3870. A second 3870 would have cost me £120, plus my current one didnt come with a crossfire connector! The 3850's were just £72 each, plus they have a brilliant HSF. Also I am going to get a 26" monitor some time soon just for this game lol.

I'm thoroughly impressed with it so far, they have taken the finest elements from both GW and WoW and combined then into a game that is better then both of them. The game also feels a lot like DDO with the maps, dungeons and layouts, but with a brilliant fast paced combat engine.

So combine DDO, GW and WoW and you get AoC XD

I just picked it up today. The graphics are great and the opening cut screen is FREAKING amazing. You get to see a fight where a guy gets one of his arms amputated and then not to be outdone he get decapitated So far I have only played for 3 hours and I am at level 9 I have been trying to figure out the UI and several other things so I have only done a few quests. From what I can tell though the world seems to be instanced? So when you’re outside the city it's just you no other people just NPC's? That seems kind of lame. Maybe I am wrong as I just started but if the entire world is like this and not open then that will just ruin the game. The combat system is great though. I love the finishing moves and combo moves that you can use. Oh and I average about 90 FPS with my system. I ran a time demo in FRAPS for about 30 minutes and then got the average FPS from that. For anyone wanting to turn on the FPS meter in the game it is CTRL + ALT + F

Section8, there are instances but there are only a few (never seen more than 3-4) and the instances get much bigger (like 3 hours walking one end to the other) after you leave Tortage (starter city you are at). I've never been alone in an instance so I don't know why that happened to you. What server are you on? I'm on Doomsayer (FFA PvP) and there are plenty of people everywhere.

How can you hate questing? It is so easy in this game.. I don't believe you about getting to level 25 in 3 hours though.

You cant get to level 25 that fast. Play at your own pace and enjoy the game.
