Damn, I can't believe they gouge you so hard on the prices.

Anyway, I updated my rig, and wanted to show you guys. I switched out the Swiftech rad, and put in the much thicker Aqua Computer Evo 120 rad. With this change, an added fan for a push/pull config, and a much deeper nb fan (60mm Vantec stealth), it makes for a tight fit. However, temps went down with the added air and better rad.

Note: had some leftover red coolant in the rad, so it mixed with the green to make a butt ugly red/green tinged fluid. Ordered some purple coolant which will go in asap!

    New config:

Probably the sata drivers. I would driver clean the chipset drivers, and reinstall them without the drivers, and utilize the generic Windows ones.

After the S17 bios the Q6600 OCs even better. I posted windows @ 500FSB and 4.0ghz on air. I haven't figured out what I'm going to run 24/7 yet, but I have it at 3.6ghz with 25c-30c temps right now tested for about 10hrs. SLI performance on this board is good too. I'll push this thing more in a week or two and post some results in the OC section. Thanks for the review, and kudos to EVGA for this board and the support to OCers.

I got issues with this board.Or then its the RAM but the problems started after installing this board.
Ill get bluescreen if i got more than one Ram stick in the mobo.I tested the sticks in my friends comp and worked fine.
They are Corsair DDR2 800mhz CM2X1024-6400 1024mb latency 5-5-5-12 Ram modules.Well if i want to find something positive ill get my Q9300 overclocked pretty easily i guess..

If you have a 9600GT... you must have the s17 bios...and lock the pci-e frequency to 100 or it will very likely bomb on you

Man do I seem to have a ty board.

You're running 400 FSB at everything on Auto. I can't even boot at 375 (1500) without ramping up the SPP and nforce voltage to 1.5V and higher and thats not even stable. i can't even boot at 400 FSB.

I got an E7200 (9.5x) multiplier. I tried 400x9 and nothing because I knew my chip could do 4ghz on a P35 but here... nothing.

Got the latest bios and all.. just... nothing

Actually I read on the [H] review that they had also trouble with being unable to hit 375FSB on an E7200. So it looks like some kind of an incompatibility problem, similar to the 9600GT maybe. Be warned.

If anyone cares I got a response from evga support about the issue with the low FSB on the E7200.

Short version: Known issue, hopefully fixed in the next BIOS

    sorry to bump this thread.

Have any of the 750i users experiences this video-bug. I like the 750i and want to upgrade from my 680i (doesn't like ny Q6600 at all) I want to stay with Nvidia since I have a water blocked rig and the blocks will fit on 7xx series as well. Just this video-bug that is holding me back.

Edit didn't realise that was my 1st post.. Hi everyone. long time reader

Hey webwolf and welcome to XS!

I've got the 750i and I havn't experienced any video bugs, although I just got it running today. I will say this though, none of the EK mosfet blocks with this board. This board isn't reference design, and the mosfets have a longer mounting system than the 680i. Overall this board seems solid. Everyone says this board is 16x 16x in SLI mode, but the manual says it's 16x in single mode, and 8x 8x in SLI mode. I'm not sure, I havn't done enough testing to see yet. My major gripes about this board are, it dosn't have 2 NICs like the 680i, only 4 SATA ports, and the SB can't be watercooled. The SB has a little metal component in the way of all aftermarket coolers. I stuck one of these http://www.petrastechshop.com/evvcvgcodnf4.html on the SB, and had to cut it up with a dremel to make it fit. Although, I think this would work better http://www.petrastechshop.com/enslonfocoso.html , you would of course have to take the fan off of it. The SB actually stays very cool. I have just the case air going over mine now, and it stays around 30-45C which is well in the range of stability. The 780i NB block from EK fits, but you have to take two nuts off the bolts so that i makes contacts with the NB and PCIe 2.0 chip.

For more info on WCing this board check out the WCing section.
