Mini LCD Display I am using on my new build

I thought I would show all a little something that I am playing around with for my new computer build.

This is an Flat Panel LCD with both passive (STN) and active (TFT) abilities. That is it is a touch screen.

    The smaller unit is 2.5” x 3.5”, Larger is 3.5” x 4.6”
Rez on the smaller unit is 320x240, full color and programmable. Backlight, landscape or portrait modes.
It can display anything from a computer desktop, to color pictures, has many touch screen features such as sliders, buttons etc. and animations. Basically whatever you want.
The unit has several interfaces from USB to RS232 or CMOS.

Basically these units are fully programmable displays which can used for many applications. It’s possible that they could be used for Phase cooling units also, or as a mini video display.

The small unit I plan on mounting on the front on my TJ07 and display system information. EVEREST data would be ideal, plus graphics etc. I just need to learn how to get that kind of data and display it on the LCD. Might some form of EVEREST import like how Gadgets are used in Vista.

The small units size will fit in 2 drive bays. While the larger unit will take 3 drive bays and require a few mods to the case itself to make it fit in the TJ07.

where do you get this from? there is absolutely no performance hit from using more than 1 monitor. I've used and built for customers (cad/cam, gaming) many muti- monitor systems.

There is no hit when running dual monitors. However, there is a hit if you try to change the resolution to something that streches across two monitors... something like 2500x1024(I dunno the exact resolution, but you get the idea).
