ASUS L1N64-SLI WS/B guess that means it's the refresh of that board? So, when are 1207 socket Phenom optys available? IMHO, you've got a whiles to wait. It's more than just bios. It's a whole different socket.
A friend of mine has the original L1N64, is there any way to get the quads working in it properly or perhaps send in his board to asus and get it updated for the quads or a discount towards the new board?

I'm sorry for this stupid question but can someone explain what K10's are? Thanks. Also there is a BIOS available for this board to support two quad cores.
You can get it from:
http://www.esnips.com/r/hmfl/doc/769...ASUS-WS-B-0401
or goto http://www.esnips.com/web/tictacbios and select all folders and then BIOS and see if there is a newer version from this guy who has been hacking the BIOS to support it.
I'm told that it requires ECC Registered memory though.
It's been confirmed thanks to CyberDruid that this is just the Asus L1N64-WS, but with a new bios which limits it to use Reg-Dimms, but makes it Barcelona capable. i.e. It's the exact same thing that's been available elsewhere on this site for a month.
I noticed this boards BIOS are now available at:
http://support.asus.com/download/dow...N64-SLI%20WS/B
Is it ok to flash the L1N64-SLI-WS with the L1N64-SLI-WS/B bios or should a person use the BIOS that is available at that esnipes site?
