Doing an RMA with Intel for a CPU. Do you guys know if they require a heatsink to be sent in? My chip is retail but I do not have the stock cooler with me. I'd throw in my E6400 heatsink but I'm RMAing a QX9650.

Quoting the e-mail from Intel for my RMA case:

• Return ONLY the products approved for return as noted above. (Keep all accessories with you.) Intel will not return unauthorized products.
Nowhere in the e-mail does it state to include the heatsink, although the person I spoke with requested some numbers on the stock cooler while processing it. I just said I left it at someone's house and didn't have access to it.

Anyone have prior experience? I've done an RMA before with a retail E8500 and I packed up an E2140 HSF with it by accident and they accepted it.
