    Motherboard dying?

Alright so I have had this GA-965P-DS3 for over a year now and I think it might be dying on me now. I used to always run 425x8 which would give me 3400mhz. It was Orthos stable and everything. One day I wanted to see if I could get 3600mhz so I was bumping up the fsb but before I had to go to sleep, I wanted to put my fsb back to 425 so it could crunch all night without any problems. Although now when I try to set 425 FSB in BIOS it shows up as 424.0 and it does not fluctuate at all. I would understand if it was like 424.8, but no, it just sits at 424.0. Alas, I am starting to think that either my processor is degrading or my motherboard is on its way out. I purchased the motherboard and the CPU at the same time by the way.

I don't think it's dying, maybe a bios issue ? you got less stability since then ? Maybe a reflash of the bios cures it all...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

i would also try in the bios, "load optimized settings" and then try settings back up to where they were...

I just loaded optimized defaults and 425 still turns into 424. Just for testing, I set 450 FSB which booted as 450. This is so weird. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem.
