    Well at full whack, you can get what 10/11mb/s depending on source. Giganews could probably max that with 20 connections... Damn, I want a 100mbit line

    Blu-ray movies are what 8gb in size? Means you can download 8gb in about 14 minutes. Damn!

    +1 for multiple connections, I was using 2 connections for my newsleecher until a friend told me you could add another dozen and since then I've been in downloading bliss



    btw, that PY222 is really starting to ramp up his production And Rechenkraft is also showing a little razzle dazzle

    with newsleecher I can D/L from usenet at 14.85mbit on my 15mbit line..
    Oh,wait, ahh, no, I never do that.. All I do is run MJ12..

    Blu-ray movies are 20GB+ thats why at 8,000KBps it's still taking so long

    Blu Ray is a waste of BW IMO.. Lots of size for no appreciable benefit at least on any normal TV.
    Maybe different on a HD set but I don't have one.
