Our specification for TWIN3X2048-1800C7 calls for DDR3-1800 7-7-7-20-2T (tCL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS, tCMD). On your 790i motherboard, set tRRD, tRC, tWR, tWTR and tREF to AUTO, which will work just fine for 1800C7. This will ensure that your motherboard BIOS is properly set up for 1800C7 and at the same time will be a baseline for your further OCing adventures...

Simply put, BIOS code will calculate clock cycles for each of above 4 timings you set to AUTO at DDR3-1800 based on minimum cycle times (in nanoseconds) included in base SPD of TWIN3X2048-1800C7. And tREF is 7.8 microseconds. Your modules do not contain any profile supported by EPP2.0.

From the top of my head, you should be seeing 6-44-12-18-7.8

wonder ( even if auto set is all right ) the exact spd specs of my ram..
have you ability to give this bachus ?

is it necesarry to cool the 1800c7 at his rated speed and spec ?
( airflow fans are too noisy for me ... )

uhm, i gots a problem with my Corsair Dominators too, i bought the DDR3 1800CFIN7 ones, and run them on an Asus Maximus Extreme Mainboard. and there, they do only run at 1333. Everytime, i try to set them at 1800, the board Auto-overclocks the cpu too(to 4.3 GHZ) where it is bootable, but not stable enough to run Apps. how can i solve this problem?

We recommend leaving them at auto.
