Oh, and as a note... It took the highest voltages my board would put out to the processor for it to boot into windows at 4.4 Ghz... I think its 1.675V lol...

And WOW does it run hot. Idled in the mid to high 40's.

If you are on the lookout for a 1.2000v, it is still a crapshoot. I have been documenting results from folks who post their results along with the Batches and VID Value.
    For instance I had a L737B162 Vid=1.2000v, but the other L737B162 had a Vid =1.2500v. I do have a L737B055 Vid=1.2125v that I will put into a Water System.

My thoughts are a VID=1.2250v gives the best bang for the results. They exhibit both low enough temps but you can push them a litlle further than one with a VID=1.200v for instance. They appear to be more robust/tough??? This opinion is just what I see in my long list of Q6600 results.

You're definitely on the right track with that theory. From what I've seen, lower VID q6600's do great up to a certain point and then hit a temperature wall. The higher VID's tend to hit a vcore wall, but can handle the higher vcore much better. It's a trade off I guess.

Pfft, you think YOU'RE drooling? I've got a freaking Q6600 B3 with a 1.325v VID, and I need about the same voltage to do 3.4Ghz as a lot of these people are using to get 4.0Ghz.
